Chocolate Chip Tahini Cookies | Recipe

I literally came across photos of these cookies less than 2 hours ago and immediately decided to whip up a batch. I made some minor tweaks to suit my taste, however the base of this recipe comes from Sweet Potato Soul’s 5-ingredient Chocolate Tahini Cookies,ย (love her!). My version has more than 5 ingredients, but it’s still a quick, easy, one-bowl minimal mess type of recipe that turned out to be dangerously delicious. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted tahini
  • 1/4 cup 100% maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips dairy free of course!
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 3/4 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, stir the tahini, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well blended.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until combined to a wet/sticky dough.
  4. Dip your hands into water then scoop 2 to 3 tablespoons worth of batter into your hand. Form it into a cookie shape and place onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat.
  5. Bake the tray of cookie dough for 10 to 13 minutes, (though I left mine in a bit longer for some extra crisp and light brown edges). Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Enjoy!
